At Nightingale Metal Design, we take immense pride in the precision and quality of our work. Because the majority of our pieces are personalized or custom-made to order, our return policy is designed to reflect the unique nature of our craftsmanship.
Personalized & Custom Orders
Due to the permanent nature of fiber laser cutting and custom design work, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on:

Personalized Signs: Any item featuring a custom name, date, or specific text.

Custom Commissions: Any project designed specifically for a client via our Custom Inquiry process.

Sale Items & Gift Cards: These purchases are considered final sale.
We encourage all customers to double-check spelling and dates before finalizing an order. If you notice a mistake immediately after ordering, please Contact Us within 2 hours so we can attempt to intercept the design before it hits the laser.
Stock (Non-Personalized) Items
For our standard, non-personalized stock items, we offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery.

Condition: To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it—unused, unmounted, and in its original packaging.

Process: To start a return, please contact us at info@nightingalemetal.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package.

Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs of non-defective stock items.
Damages and Issues
We stand behind our "Nightingale Standard." Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately.

Transit Damage: Despite the strength of our steel and our secure packaging, accidents can happen during shipping. If your sign arrives damaged, please send a photo of the item and the packaging to info@nightingalemetal.com so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Our Mistake: If we made an error in the laser-cutting process that differs from your order specifications, we will replace the item at no cost to you.
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 3-5 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
