At Nightingale Metal Design, we aren’t just a shop—we’re a family of makers, athletes, and creators. Based in our studio in Exton, Pennsylvania, our team combines decades of industrial metalworking expertise with a passion for helping you celebrate your family’s legacy in steel.
Amy Rullo
Co-Founder & Director of Operations
Amy is the social heart and organizational "core" of Nightingale Metal Design. While the shop floor is driven by high-tech machinery, Amy drives the Customer Relations and Service that make our clients feel like part of the family. From managing inventory to personally overseeing our rapid Shipping process, she ensures the "Nightingale Standard" is met with every order.
The name "Nightingale" is a tribute to her grandparents and childhood memories on Nightingale Lane. Known for her high energy, Amy is a "Mom-in-Motion"—whether she's cheering on Francesca at soccer, watching Gianna ride horses, or tending to her extensive collection of indoor plants and rescue dogs. For Amy, Nightingale is about honoring the people and places that make a house a home.
Steven Rullo
Co-Founder & Business Lead
Steve’s career in high-performance engineering began at age 10, funding dirt bike parts by mowing lawns. That early hustle led to the launch of Rullo Custom Cycles in 2004. His expertise in finishing is backed by years of industrial experience, including owning a high-volume commercial powder coat shop in Collingdale from 2012 to 2016 before moving operations to our current Exton studio.
Today, Steve manages the "infrastructure" of Nightingale—from finance to the rigorous Powder Coating standards that ensure every sign is weather-proof. When he isn’t scaling the business, Steve is a constant-motion athlete, clocking 40 miles a week on the pavement or hitting the ice for late-night hockey games. For Steve, a sign is a piece of precision engineering.
Beau Sutton
Master Fabricator & Artistic Lead
As our lead Master Fabricator, Beau is the primary operator of our state-of-the-art Fiber Laser. A skilled TIG and MIG welder, he brings a level of artistry to metal that is rarely seen in the industry. As a professional tattoo artist, his keen eye for linework and composition ensures our sign drawings are surgically clean and artistically superior.
Beau is a true "maker" who constantly improves our workshop technology—even designing and building a custom shaker table to ensure every intricate cutout is removed perfectly. You can follow his technical fabrication projects and "behind-the-torch" experiments on his YouTube Channel, where he documents the grit and creativity of the Nightingale workshop.
