Welded rear hangers on our signs

The Nightingale Standard: Why We Weld Our Hangers
At Nightingale Metal Design, we believe that the way a sign hangs is just as important as the design itself. While many companies take the easy route by cutting holes directly into the art—or worse, providing no mounting hardware at all—we take the extra step to ensure your sign looks professional and seamless on your wall.

Hidden Hangers for a Premium Look
Unless otherwise noted, each of our signs features one or two custom-made sawtooth hangers welded securely to the back. This hidden mounting system provides several key advantages:
- Clean Aesthetic: You don't have unsightly screw heads or holes breaking up the intricate details of your fiber laser-cut design.
- Float Effect: Because the hangers are welded to the rear, the sign sits slightly off the wall, creating a beautiful shadow line and a high-end "floating" appearance.
- Simple Leveling: Sawtooth hangers make it easy to adjust your sign so it hangs perfectly level every time.
Thoughtful Engineering for Every Sign
We don't use a "one-size-fits-all" approach to mounting. Our team carefully considers the balance and weight of every piece:
- Symmetrical Designs: Typically feature a single center hanger for effortless installation.
- Wide or Large Signs: We install dual hangers to ensure the sign stays secure and balanced, even in high-traffic areas.
- Small or Narrow Designs: When a sawtooth won't fit, we utilize a custom single-hole mount that still keeps the hardware hidden from view.
Exceptions to the Rule
There are a few instances where rear-mounted hangers aren't the best fit for the application. These include our Garden Staked Signs (designed to be driven into the ground), our Bird Silhouettes (meant to be hammered into trees), and specific signs designed for post-mounting. If you have a unique installation need—such as mounting to a stone fireplace or a glass surface—please reach out to us before ordering so we can customize the mounting provisions for you.
