Shipping Times During Covid-19 Pandemic

UPDATE 01/05/2021:

As we have progressed through the holidays into the new year, we have shifted a majority of our shipments to UPS and FedEx. We have consistently seen the best delivery times and fewest issues with these 2 services compared with USPS. We do ship items that are below 1lb via USPS First Class package, but other than that we have shifted to the other carriers.

UPDATE 11/28/2020:

We have been working with UPS, FedEx and USPS on solving any in-transit time issues that we were seeing just a few weeks ago. The good news is that we have seen most of these issues rectified!

ORIGINAL POST:

We appreciate every purchase from our Nightingale Metal Design customers and wanted to make sure to address some recent shipping delays that we have been seeing.

We work diligently to make your personalized and customized signs efficiently and to ship our stock signs quickly. Once we have processed a shipment, we rely upon the shipping carrier to make final delivery to our customers. Unfortunately, we have seen far too many issues over the last 6 months, and it seems that the frequency of issues has been increasing lately as opposed to getting better.

There have been issues with all carriers that we use (USPS, UPS & FedEx), but lately we have experienced issues with in-transit times with USPS taking extraordinarily long. This is very frustrating for our customers as well as for us!

We understand that our signs are often gifts or other time-sensitive purchases for our customers. USPS Priority Mail domestic deliveries are typically 2-3 business days. However, we have seen instances of domestic shipments taking several weeks. With the increase in these issues we have been using FedEx and UPS more until we see an improvement in the delivery times of USPS. Unfortunately this does not help our customers that are currently awaiting their purchases, but we are working with USPS to determine the location of packages that are "In transit, arriving late" as best as we can.

Whatever the reasons for all of these delayed shipments, and a simple Google Search will reveal a host of reasons and articles on the topic, we want to assure each of our customers that we will make sure that your sign is delivered. We appreciate you as a customer, and we appreciate your patience during this strange and hopefully temporary crazy time.
